Governor Cuomo Signs Legislation Establishing Committees to More Effectively Distribute Staff in General Hospitals and Creates Staffing Minimums in Nursing Homes
Following the COVID-19 pandemic which placed a great strain on New York City’s hospital system, these committees will create staffing plansthat will allow the hospital system to run more efficiently. These committees will be composed ofcurrent hospital staff and healthcare professionals who are most closely impacted by the system.
